I don't think many other people will know about the sex tapes they have. I mean, it's supposedly of value and how many celebrities do you know that don't have the resources to hide these personal belongings particularly of high value? Then again, it's not as if their resources are too trust-worthy considering how many people love a piece of the action.
I don't know about it being a ploy but it just doesn't seem likely.

It's what Tor said, there are horny people are out there who wants those stupid. I don't care much for those sex tapes. they are doing it on purpose. They want to become famous. i don't think a normal person would lose their sex tapes unless they sold it to someone else who horny.
