Lately i was thinking that whats so great about the Xbox 360? yeah it has way better graphics but is that it? Theres also wireless controlers but couldn't you buy those for any Xbox? I dont own one yet or if i even want to. So whats your intake on the newly XBox 360?

There's more space on the system and if you get the $400 one, then you get like a free trial for Xbox live I guess. I didn't try it yet but I'm waiting to try it at the game store. XD

Yup I just saw the e3 show...though old, but very informational. I been talking to people who work at game stores, and they say that the ps3 will definately be the most powerful system.

Guess what I heard and saw on the news? Some dude is sueing microsoft over the xbox 360 because it broke down on him and short circiuted his tv and other appliances...that doesn't sond so good man. It's so powerful it blew up his TV? lol. Or it just wasn't working.

Also microsof just recalled 12 mlllion xbox. For having a bad powercord. The peeps at sony must be laughing their asses off right now.

Anyway I feel the same as Cloud, but toward all three next generation consoles. I don't really care much for media capabilities other than gaming, or care for graphics that are just a little better off than the current consoles.

As with any new console, most games at launch are crappy. Take DS for example. Nothing but tech demos in the beginning but now I don't regret getting a DS with what's been coming out NOW.

It's too early to judge any of them right now even if I'm not much of an XBox person.

Well when It comes out, i'm going to take my buddies and wait outside walmart to get it. Then buy like 10 of them and sell them on ebay as demand gets high and supplies get low.

Damn xbox freaking selling for like 1k.

Man XBox 360's are high risk items if you're looking to sell them. I lost like a lot of money on those.

I sure hope that game quality goes up as time goes by. Good graphics are nice but I miss good gameplay.

It's true that there are still some bugs in the firsts and many had to be recalled.

See this is why I wait to buy a console for myself.

Let all the idio- er people get it before me at launch to see if there's anything wrong.

its like the XBox 360 they launched was the Master Beta (lol). Its like they were still working on it since it over heats (trust me it does), they just wanted to launched it to make more money and to try to beat Sony Playstation, i say wuality over quantity

Just better graphix emulators, A white box instead of a black box for the console (they are hatin on the black man, ha), different controller looks, etc. Not really that fun, Id ust get a PSP.

Make sure to get one with lots of memory, and that it has a USB cord so you can transfer files from your computer right to the PSP, a starter kit ought to do the job. The good things is that you can watch movies wherever you are, and all the other junk you can do with a PSP. Watching a movie on it is really really cool, because its just you :wink:

To me...I think watching a movie on a psp is kinda dumb. The screen is too small...and you probably have to hold it up most of the time. I don't have one so I don't know...but I mean, it's a psp...why do you need to use it as a dvd player? I thought that sony shouldn't have done that. It was cool and innovative though.

It had gaming elemants i never experience befor, like picking up and thing and using it as a weapon then setting it on fire! And if you drop the fire staff it makes the grass go on fire it was a great experience

Lol the PS3 will have better graphics for sure, I will tell you that, but for the more powerful games, it doesn't have enough bandwith, not ram not processing power, bandwith.

Im not trying to bash on Sony since im a fan of both systems, im just trying to explain to everybody that PS3 will probably be 500 bucks and the 360 will be 300 bucks by then.

Also Halo3 will come out the same day as PS3 which could be a killer considering the pricing, also the 70-80 dollar games.

They didn't recall 12 million Xbox's they just gave out new powercords.

The thing that makes Xbox so great is Xbox live, and Halo, theres still 200,000 players on it pretty much every second of the day.

Free downloadable demos and the Xbox live arcade also.

Haha, I just don't like Xbox. I'm a big support of Enix, but even if Enix did got into a contract giving all their prodcuts to Xbox, I will still hate it.

Do you guys think that 70$ is really worth it for games they've released that don't even look or feel so next-gen?

I remember the huge difference between Dreamcast's Soul Calibur and other games for consoles like N64, PS1, and Sega Saturn. HUGE difference.

Here they have games that look like they could've been pulled off on the current generation consoles. Especially if you compare XBobx 360 with the regular XBox.

I'm guessing it's around that price range. I only bought like 7 bundle specials to sell on eBay. Never an individual game.

Over 50+ aint worth it.

The price is pretty close to 70 if you include tax. In CA, tax is 8.25%.

60 or 70$, it's still isn't worth it.

I didn't like Perfect Dark or Kameo.

I wish game creators got focused on gameplay as much as they did graphics. I think sucky games at 50$ is a rip-off if it's all eye candy and no great game to back it up.

So your saying Halo isn't a game worth 50 bucks, ive played it sometimes 5 hours a day daily for a year.

Sorry to go off topic but with games at the prices they are, it's ridiculous how irresponsible parents want to make the video game makers as the bad guy if their kid was dumb enough to pull off another Columbine.

Money just doesn't appear outta thin air.

Anyway I'm hardly impressed with the next generation consoles. Although it's nice that the 360 is like a giant media center that can allow things like video chatting, what can it do for video games? Yes it has more power and polygons but honestly video game makers either aren't using 360's full potential or it's just a cruel joke.

You really can't blame me for being highly critical of all of the next-gen considering what the crap they're charging us for. Most of us have been around since NES and watched the growth of video gaming from then to now. There's a huge difference then and now, where the next-gen just looks as there isn't much change.

360 has only recently been out so I'll have to wait and see. I don't expect Revolution and the PS3 to be that great either.

I thought they stopped the 360 from selling cause they all were defective, thats what my friend said, he owns a game store, he said that all the people that bought one ended up having theirs over heating so much that the insides got fried badly, and microsoft wasn't even gonna give their money back, and they discontined them till they fixed the problem, but I havn't watched the news or tv in a long time, so next time I go to his store, I'll ask if they made a new model or something. :?

It would suck for the game makers if everyone started renting. They'd lose money. Luckily 360 just makes a good foot rest for me so until they make something good, I won't be renting or buying.

Hopefully the ones I sold off didn't have any bugs or turned the game CDs into a cupcake. If they did, oh well.

Yeah although most games when the system first comes out aren't that great, but for a system having 10 ghz processing im not impressed graphically wise, but the thing that makes me choose an Xbox over a Playstation is Xbox live. Rigor have you played it yet, the arcade is pretty sweet.

Just don't get annoyed with how the controls look with the ps3. Haha, you can use the ps3 controls as a weapon. I figured that out when I kept asking questions about Dirge of Cerberus by my cousin. XD It makes a perfect weapon. Especially when you have a good aim on Krazim's head.

No one even knows what the ps3 can do yet. We're all judging it base on all these blog sites on the net. Most of the info, is probbably just fake. Not saying all, but i'm pretty sure some of them are.

XB360 live is definately gonna be the deciding factor. more games are becoming multiplayer and if sony doesn't get in the game like xbox, it will probably start to lose it's shares.

Well im pretty sure ign.com doesn't lie, the system could change by launch, also a deciding factor could also be the hard drive not being included.

But its gonna have some good games at launch, unlike the 360.
