Microsoft, just said that the Xbox 360 is coming out on November 22 in the united states! The Europeans will be able to enjoy the new console on December 2, while the Japanese are the last on the list, the console coming to Japan on December 10.

They are lauching it in 2 version...one which is the "bundle pack" and the other, normal...the bundle pack is close or over 400 dollars!

Damn...I guess I'm not getting one, since it's too expensive..and i don't have time to play video games...

XBox 360 is going to be something...I'm not going to lie even though I'm not a Xbox fan. It is really powerful for a game console, we can all admit. I been reading some various articles on it, and it's doing some pretty cool stuff. Maybe I'll walk to domo's house when he gets it...

I'm still waiting for some more info on the PS3 though, before I pick which one to choose if I ever decide to get it. PS3 has a few more months to tweak out it's stuff...launching it late could be it's downfall, or transcendence as the ultimate gaming console...

600ish $?! Even I wouldn't waste that much on new consoles that can't offer me nothing more than power and pretty graphics.

I say the current consoles are fine as they are.

Has Microsoft launched any ideas of doing a portable? I think they'd do well for online play even if I'm not into that company...

Actually even though the PS3 has slower bandwith and processor speed its comparable to the 360 because it processes the information differently.

But the 360 has more bandwith and processing power and if they design the game right will be much better then on the PS3.

Sony took out alot of things on the PS3 that would make it a great competitor to the 360. Hub/router, hard drive.

Also its coming with 7 controller ports for those 7 player split screen games.

Domo, how do you know that the xbox 360 is more powerful than the ps3? 3 core processors doesn't mean 9.2 ghz...it just means it can process different things...multi-tasking. Which does make it powerful, but doesn't mean it's at that speed of 9.2ghz.

Processor speed doesn't matter when comparing those two consoles. Or it doesn't matter to the overall performance. It's like a celeron 2.4 against a sempron 2600...which is only 2ghz in speed...but overall performance is far better than celeron. So the clock speed doesn't determine overall performance.

well i got an idea around this year or next ill buy both those consols and give them a rating depending on my opinion and the higher rating will be the best

i would love 2 preoerder it but its simply 2 much money. tha price is ridiculous. when tha original came out, i did preorder it, but the cheapest bundle i seem was like 699 4 xbox 2. they r whilin.

Yes, but for more advanced games which require more processing power, more bandwith, the PS3 will have the advantage in processing power, because it can split it up into the 7 cores, but the bandwith will be a problem for the PS3.

The graphical capabillities on the other hand the advantage is to the PS3 because of the 2 Teraflops of floating point performance.

But since the PS3 has only 1 core for general processing, its proven that most games use general processing the most somewhere around 70%, the PS3 simply won't have enough processing power to deliver those graphics.

Sony has a record of offering numbers but not delivering, the testkits developers have now are running somewhere around 2.4 ghz. Sony is promising around 3.4. While the 360 will have each core running at 3.2.

Anyway, have you guys seen the looks of the launch titles for both? Graphicswise, since that's all is known so far, they look like something you'd expect on the PS2 and 360's predecessor.

I don't bother preodering mine. Like, our mall has like two game stores and there's only like twenty people in each game store. So I don't care. They have TONS of game systems in the back. I saw one of the employees walking in the back and he opened the door. Whoa, I saw a lot of game systems.

If it's going to the be like the ps2 slim...then it could be a month or two before you get it...and that was the ps2 which is another version of a system that was already out. With 360, you could be waiting a while though man. Since's it's brand new and plus it's holiday times. I think this was a good move by microsoft to luanch it during christmas time...I'm gonna try to get one and then resell it for like 500 bucks. LOL. I did that was the ps2 slim version. I bought 3 of them, and resold them for about 400 each with 3 brand new games. Which I got for 10 bucks.

I haven't played video games in such a long time. I kinda miss it. But I'm kinda intersted in the xbox 360. I just saw it in front of my face at walmart. It's smaller than I thought. Hella small.

It's definately gonna be tehe #1 item on all the kiddies christmas list.
