Final Fantasy X(10)

Ive been playin Final Fantasy 10 for like 10 months with some months i never played it once and its only took me 63 hours to finish the game and i have to say its one of the best Final Fantasy game ever and it over ranked Final Fantasy 7. Final Fantasy 10 has one of the RPGs I've ever played honestly and is IS!!!The best game I have ever played, though it has it ups and downs like the final bost Yu Yevon is the one of the easiest boss I've ever beat and its ups like its "Cloister of Trials" it made me think da hardest I've ever thunk (and i had exams). Man this game should get rewarded with "The best freakin game ever made" award. It has the best characters, Tidus a cool easy going blitzballa, Yuna a summoner, Auron a legendary guardian, Lulu a black mage, Rikku an Al Bhed guardian and Wakka captain of the blitzball team. All these people are guardians but Yuna. Tell me that this isn't da best Final Fantasy ever.

Sorry man but for me I can't say that it is. I put VII before X.

It was more of a movie, had far less gameplay than FFVII, the characters were shallow and seen before, the game was not challenging, landscape could've used some work, and the ending was...Bleh.

Sphere Grid- While it's nice to be able to customize things every once in a while, FFX's Sphere Grid is flawed. You could overpower your characters by breaking a lock and going onto someone else's grid. Also someone could foolishly do the same thing and mix up Lulu's black magic by having her learn "Holy."

Movie/Gameplay- When I first played the game, I found the cinematic eye candy to be impressive. But it happened too much and was very distracting to the gameplay.

Characters- There wasn't much depth to the characters. There were personality quirks for each of them but most weren't exactly deep characters. There wasn't much attention payed to even half of the characters in FFX. In VII, events actually took place to give the gamer something to percieve of them. And in VII, there was always evidence that explained why a certain character may be the way they were. They also weren't trivial events that made characters the way they were like in X. Ex: Being a small ronso and loosing his horn explaining his silence or why Auron is significantly different from when he was still alive.

At least in VII, there was plenty of info to explain why a character was the way they were. It's obvious Vincent was gloomy because he let the chick he like go through with the creation of Sephiroth.

Landscape- Even though FFX is more superior than the other FF's before that, some things looked choppy outside cinema moments. The only worthwhile place in FFX was Macalania Woods. In appearance anyway.

The only reason I think past FF games were far more superior than X is because back then they didn't have advanced enough technology to blow people away with eye candy and were stuck with trying to make the game fun. Also ideas back then were still fresh. Now X's story isn't the worst but it had potential. Also X was just too easy. The Cloister of Trials were a joke and mainly required you to move the shiny little orbs, pillars, and put it in some whole to lead you to the Fayth/Aeon. Amusing for a while but hardly a challenge. It was just impossible to lose to the final boss, Yu Yevon. You were practically immortal with the constant Auto-Life. It's a shame that Seymour was trickier than the final boss sometimes.
