How do I put this without being too graphic... Ah yes, they use a rusty blade to cut out everything between the lips and then sew the lips up by hand and leave a small opening big enough for any would-be husband to rip through.

I think they do this to make sex less enjoyable for women and prevent women from being promiscuous or from comitting adultery. Many girls die from this because most of the time they aren't asleep under some gas and free of pain.

Uh yeah, I disagree with the custom. It's sexist and cruel. I don't care about the religion or culture involved in these kinds of things. If it involves somebody being ruined or killed then it should discontinue. I put this on the same level as human sacrifices.

Sometimes U.S born girls are taken back to the country to have this done. It's illegal to do that but I'm sure people manage to get around the laws anyway.

I don't know about you guys but it happening to any woman/girl, anywhere is bad enough for me.
