How much do you value graphics in a game?

I value graphics in a game on a moderate level. It's usually the gameplay I focus more on than the graphics. Unless the lighting bleeds through the characters, hurts my eyes, or if the graphics are distracting enough from gameplay, then I don't let the graphics influence my opinion on the game itself that much.

It's pretty cool to see how games have evolved since the original SNES.

graphic to me is very important because if it has poor graphics-meaning everything looks the same- on a adventrue game it can make be very confused and dizzy...thats why i dont play old games

Both pretty important but gameplay more so, If a game can do both greatly I think its going to be the best game.... HALO 2, best graphics in any game yet.

Because the gameplay could very well make up for it. If someone doesn't play a video game because it's ugly, then they're stupid.

Final Fantasy 7's graphics look horrible but you still played it right?
