I'm not sure if it's confirmed but briefly on CNN soemthing said that they were going to consider banning all violent video games from the market.
Post yer thoughts on this.
Here's mine:
First of all, all video games have some sort of form of ******* violence. Parents who're ******* ******** about this are ******* ******* themselves since they don't have the ******* common sense to check the ESRB rating on the ******* box to know if it's suitable for their ******* kids. Instead of ******* ruining it for the entire ******* gaming community, these ******* ******** of parents should ******* check what the **** they're buying for their kids instead of trying to ban all games because they're too ******* stupid as parents to know if whatever they bought for their kids was too ******* much for their ******* kids in the first place.
Well my opinion and how I feel about this is pretty clear. Normally I can talk without talking that way but I get tired of parents or whoever wanting to ban something for everyone just because they don't like it or wasn't responsible enough to not buy it in the first place.
If you don't like a game's content-don't buy it. It's simple as that.
The banning of anything is stupid for one thing, it's no less or more reality with or without it. Though I don't exactly agree with my sister getting stuck on stupid while playing video games, I'd never keep her from doing it. People should have the right to do whatever pleases their fancy (just as long as it doesn't interfere with the life of someone else), banning whatever from exposure is simply controlling and a violation of whatever some people intend to live by.

Dont freakin ban video game violence i have a samurai quirk and i gotta keep my anger and hatred under control and da only way i can do that is take it out on digital characters. Atleast they aren't real but if it was real it would be worse, so video game violence make things worst they make it better by takin da anger out digital characters instead of the real people.

I hear these kind of commentary all the time.. There is no point of banning it since you see it on t.v. music. etc... people just need to know that banning violent video games won't solve anything. they need to worry about other important things.

Yeah like the actual causes of violence and maybe preventing it with education.
It's sad the day I believe that they'd need ethics class in schools. Schools take the blame for everything anyway and parents are hardly even mentioned.

when the parents are to blame, they use some stupid excuse...

I understand that parents CAN'T monitor everything their kids do but seriously... Kids growing up in the ideal life, ending up violent doesn't happen for no reason also.
You can have a mansion and still have kids ending up straying off the 'right' path. All there needs to be is some guidance.
I don't like how they emphasize that violence is mainly rooted from being poor. It can spring up in any household. I've seen it happen.
Yes. Don't let your kid's mind stray off. Oftentimes, what they grow up believing will mark their lifestyle even in adult years especially if they're left isolated.
Ensure that you're aware of their idea of what's right and what isn't. Talk to them. Bond with them etc.

There are times when some kids are very stubborn and they don't feel like talking to their parents.
Yeah, I know but I'd suggest those before it hits that stage. It is normal, I think, to not like your parents in your business because they're authoritative figures therefore, with them, it'll probably feel that you're being schooled... not many kids like that and that's why you have to try to bond with them. Find common interests and explore them together... similar to that.

I like violent video games, but banning them... I dunno, for me it's hard to let them go.. Besides, there are other people whose been playing those games since they were young as well..like me
