Mentioned this in one of the other topics before but continuing to talk about it there won't work.
Here are some screenshots. Main character this time is Vincent Valentine.

It's gonna be a rental for me whenever its released. Seems to me like something that was rushed just to get money from something popular.

I guess it's out today. I wonder what Krazim's verdict is. I don't like looking at Gamfaqs reviews because I can never find honest reviews that aren't trying too hard to be critical or fanboyish.
Um... My rating on this.
Pros:
- Nice seeing FF7 places in full 3D
- Graphics
- More on Shinra and any other FF7 details, storywise
- Interesting gun customization
- Gackt not a VA in the English version
Cons:
- Frustrating control scheme
- BAD camera
- Difficult to see or find enemies
- Not an RPG but stages/background could've been more interactive.
7.5/10

Eheh, complain to Enix about that. XD Hehe, I'll write to them later. Thanks for your honest review. Hehe, so the game was good for you, right? I think you must hate Gackt a lot, huh? XD
I dunno about this game. They've improved a lot from the l first original FFVII game. Though, I don't like to play Vincent a lot. Ahah, sue me. v.v; But it's cool to use a different character as the main one, right? =)

It was good for me. It's not a complaint but seriously not too bad for a bunch of people who never did a shooter before. o.o It's like a shorter version of MGS2...
For veteran shooters, get on hard mode and use a keyboard and mouse. For FF people, just stick to normal and bear with the controls. I doubt the typical RPGer would have a keyboard.
I honestly think critics and people elsewhere are shredding this game apart simply because of a bandwagon thing. I typically have high standards I guess but when I actually played it, I wondered if other critics were playing the same game or being honest at all. O_o;
With the preconcieved negativity all over the place, it's a must rent. I don't think most people can really identify the positive in any game these days.
As for Gackt, Redemption is probably the best I heard out of him. XD

Cloudy, that's the official Square-Enix site. O_O
Well, Square-Enix always want to improve in stuff. So they're like trying something new in almost every of their projects. I heard something about Nintendo teaming up with Square-Enix to make a game featuring Mario. First, there was FFX-2 with all that singing stuff. Bleh, and then comes KH with a collaboration with Disney. Then it comes to a cool FFVII: AC movie. Then DoC with a shooter. So yeah, dunno what other stuff they're going to do.

wow,a new style of Kingdom hearts, new title, new charcters, same nintendo/square fun...Super Fantacy Kingdom!
but yeah, I never went to any of the links, but I heard its gonna be like Devil May Cry or something like that, the trailer looked pretty good on my DVD.

Hehe, I didn't mean combining all their S-E games. Enix is just going to collaborate with Nintendo to include the Mario characters.
Ahah, but kinda cool if they DID combined all of them.

Mario coming out of nowhere throwing fireballs, DK throwing barrels, Summon Pikachu, Bowser is a boss, Yoshi is a summon that comes out and eats all the monsters around you. lol man that would be cool...

RENT IT. Personally, I think the masses are overreacting with the negativity but I recommend renting it over buying it just in case. It's at least a C Grade.

I'm in the mood to just sell this for 25$. This game wasn't horrible for me and I like FF7 and all, but the game was just too short for me to really keep this in my pile of games. Lengthwise, I don't find it very rewarding to replay the game on the highest difficulty and won't bother.
