Which are you gonna get? Or if you're a broke bum, which do you like better?

I like Nintendo DS over PSP. Nintendo games appeal more to me, I prefer cartridges than CDs, and I could still play my old GBA games on it. That's why I like DS way better than PSP.

I am aware of that. Just asking to see which one people would buy over the other when it comes out.

Even if PSP may have better graphics than PS2, DVD, text messaging, internet, (which I doubt I'd ever use handheld) and others, I still don't like its games being CDs. Since handheld fits in your pocket those dinky CDs can break in no less than 3 seconds. Cartridges on the other hand are more durable which Nintendo was smart enough to stick with this time around.

DS all the way man.

Sounds cool...I just finished reading about it. I didn't see anywhere though, about the graphics being better than the ps2. It's gonna be sold at 300 bucks though. That's a lot of money. But some of the features on there look pretty cool. I wouldn't mind bying one if I had the money for such a thing. I'll just take my ps2 and then wait for the ps3 to come out.

The DS is pretty cool. selling only for 150 or 160. That's half the prize man. Plus they got tons of games for it. PSP got to start from scratch because this is sony's first hand-held.

they both are good...but I would probably go with the DS...because it's cheaper and because it has more titles but then again, the PSP has a bunch of options that sounds reallly cool.

Yep i get 2 gaming mags and they both say better graphics then ps2. Plus it has over 100 games in development at the moment so that should be a good launch. Ill prolly get psp first then ds.

Alrighty fan boy. *declares thread to be officially alive again*

PSP will have better graphics and is more sleek and prettier than DS but I trust Nintendo more since they have experience with handhelds and might have an edge that way. I enjoyed more of the games for the GBA than my PS2 which is why I favor Nintendo's new handheld more. I also like DS more since I have a ton of old GBA and GB games that're compatible with it. unlike PSP where I'll just have to start a new collection of games from scratch.

Personally, I think they both suck since they're a little too big and bulky for portable systems. PSP is too delicate and Nintendo DS just looks retarded and it makes my pockets look weird buldging out the way it does. I'm guessing DS will also do nothing but make remakes of N64 games like the GBA did with NES and NES games. I want more new games damnit.

Yea the psp will have need for speed and all the modern day games instead of old remakes.

But the psp will have mp3 player, small cds (mp3's), small memory card, and wireless capability, also better then ps2 graphics.

alright, I'm just gonna be blunt and say it, sorry for the cussing and such, but I say it to ppl that have psps at school. "Phuc the PSP" sure the graphics are good, but what games are even out for it? not much, the PSp is pretty much like the ipod, you just get to play games on it, I think the Ds is way better, since I have one, anywho.
DS Has
2 screens
better variety of games
plays GBA & DS games
Picto chat
Download play
Needs no memory card
REGION FREE
PSP has
1 screen
small variety of games
only those small disk things
internet access
need memory card, hella expensive I might add
regional coded
The only thing that I might like about the psp is that you can get emu games and get them onto the disk thing and play it on the psp, but that s about it for what I have to say.

I'm getting a PSP soon so I'll finally get to experience the difference.

I'm not into music, surfing the net on that dinky screen, or a weaker battery life. The games at the moment look "Meh" so I'll probably end up liking the DS better still.

The PSP is free for me and I already have a PS2. Noway I would've gotten one out of my own free will.
