You guys seen the new playstation 2? It's look's pretty tyte. Man I haven't played video games in like a year. Kinda want to get one. Miss being a kid dude.
The new design is really cool looking. Well it's the same but it's like 45% thinner. Has a built in eternet port and a modem port. That's pretty cool for online gaming. Never tried it, but like 1.5 million have in the u.s alone.
I might get one for christmas. LOL.

Its the new ps2. Comes with many new features, and about half of its original size. I don't think its out yet but I heard its going for 179 when it does. I'm not getting it im saving up for ps3, xbox2, and psp.

179? That's a lot. I saw it for 150 on target. You can pre order it. Comes out november 4th I think. That got xbox 2? Never knew that...but then again I never played on the xbox either.

I didn't say xbox 2 is out. I guarantee ps3 is gonna have more advanced stuff. There not gonna get behind the xbox this time. There waiting a few months after xbox's release to release theres to have the best graphics engine and processing unit.

ps2 got behind the xbox? I heard the xbox was doing real bad. Don't know about now. But I think the playstation systems are the best systems ever made. Plus they keep getting better and better. Nintendo use to be the best, but now they seem to have faded away. Escpeically with the game cube...the design is stupid. No offense or atleast that is what I think.

What's the ds? Psp? That the new handheld? Seen it I think. Don't really want it. Don't really like handhelds.

I think Nintendo would still own the gaming industry today if they quit making so many games directed towards kids. --; It's obvious why Nintendo is in the dust of the other big game industries.
I also agree with Domo that the PSP will kill DS in sales all because this generation of gamers seem to be all eye candy over gameplay. I'm not one of those people. =\
As far as the newer PS2 goes, I aint getting it. I'm cool with the PS2 I have now and don't feel like wasting any money yet. I won't be getting any of it until they make a newer system that offers so much more than what it is today.
Better online play is not enough to get me to get it cause; I never play online.

Does anyone know, what the actual difference is with the new ps2 model? Compared with the old spc-5001 model. LOL. Besides the size reduction and the built in eternet. You thinks it better than the older model that's all I want to know.

I don't really think anything else is different. I bought the seperate ethernet adaptor for my ps2 so im not buying the new one for that.

I just bought the new slim ps2. Actually I bought 3 of them. LOL. The demand for them is quite high, so I'm reselling them to make a profit. I just sold one for 222 bucks. Compared to 150 msrp. I'm selling my second one right now...ending today.
I tried out the new ps2. It overheats a bit quicker as well. It's hella small...I'll tell you that right now. It's real small. It looks like I can snap it in half easily.
The noise is a bit less...but not by much. Is it better than the scp-5001 model? Nah I don't think. I like the old model with the HDD and the bigger size. It looks safer and it won't break easily. I drop the thing twice and it was still working...from about 5 feet also. Twice!!! And still working...if I drop the newer model Twice...it would have been gone...
The only good thing about the newer model is the built in eternet port for broadband access...that's about it. Also it's a top loader...not side like older models.

Dude yea I bought one, it wasn't worth buying especially since ive had the ethernet port for about 2 years. I should of just bought a ds or something.
Im sure if you droped it once it would break, its so damn small, like 1/4th of the ps2 in width and its also smaller in height.

It's a waste of money dude. Just go buy the xbox360 or something. What is 150? The 360 will probably come out at 300 so all you need is another 150.

aight i didnt see da new ps2 yet i saw da XBox 360 it kinda looks like a rip off of a PS2 cuz it can be vertical or horizontalit looks alot like a PS2 but with XBox stuff and chrome ish
